I was in a panic for about a week thinking Traffic Radio had stopped their MP3 audio streams, I use this service with the Nokia Internet Radio Player to check on the latest road conditions before venturing onto the English motorways.
I checked this morning as I set off down the M6 and found the streams are back working and I also got a call from the Highways Agency Customer Relations Team to say the service is now fully working.
While on the phone to the Highways Agency they mentioned ways of publicising the Traffic Radio service and I mentioned maybe adding the streams to the Nokia Internet Radio Player, so hopefully we may see the following in the Directories.

I've not posted about JoikuSpot before, mainly because I've never been able to get it working with my 3UK SIM, but I just noticed a post over at S60Blogger which has solved all this.
JoikuSpot allows your N95 to be used as a wifi spot (i.e. it acts like your router at home), so you can connect your PC/Laptop/Mobile Wifi Device to the internet via wifi. Note that the connection is not secure, so be careful where you use it, so others don't!
Just download the JoikuSpot application and using your PC or laptop to search for wifi connections and you will see your mobile labeled as JoikuSpot.... Once connected open your browser and point at http://192.168.2.1/joikuspot-accept You will now be able to access the internet.
I've put a copy of JoikuSpot HERE as sometimes I've found it difficult to connect to their site.
There has been much buzz over the last few months on the different ways to view video files (FLV) from YouTube since Flash LITE v3.0 was released. I started using BySamir’s YT Player, moved on to emTube, then YouTube themselves released an application, but its MobiTubia which has won it for gerrymoth.
BySamir’s YT Player was basic, hopefully it will be improved, emTube has now been pulled at the request of YouTube themselves and as for the Official YouTube java application it just wont play sound on my N95 8GB or N73 and the picture quality is crap.
MobiTubia (Latest v1.76 Build 3 14/02/08) is my choice YouTube player at the moment. The layout and look of the MobiTubia application is very appeasing and I can save files and scan my memory card for FLV files I already have and play. You can also add a URL for a file from a different website like DailyMotion.
As for the future, I’m hoping we will soon be able to just play video files directly from the internet browser, if the latest Opera Mobile v9.5 will give us this, we will just need to wait and see.

My favourite application on my N73 has been updated to v2.0, so what has changed?
Well for one the "Running" & "Recent" tasks have been combined and you now have a "Favourites" when you move the joystick to the right. You can change the Settings to display just the Running or the Running & Recent when you open the Taskman up or you can easily switch between the two by pressing the PEN key.
If you start typing you will find the "Lookup & start" function, so if you want gmail start typing, g, m, etc..
The icon for Taskman has been given a revamp, but apart from that its the same great application its always been.
